I am a happy Apple / Mac user (read: fanboy), but I’m very much aware of the pain and suffering my unfortunate Windows peers had to endure with their Vista PCs. Most of them had switch back to Windows XP.
So when the news broke out that Microsoft is working on a new version of the OS, it receives mix views. Some thinks that it would get better, other thinks that it is downhill for Microsoft. The news about a new Windows OS got out while Windows Vista were still hot in production. They just recently started to push Vista out.
The new Windows OS still haven’t had an official name, it was known as ‘Blackcomb’ at one time and then ‘Vienna’. Now it is just known as Windows 7. The number ’7′ is just the version number for windows.

This is a commentary to a report on The Star regarding Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s speech at the Asia Media Summit 2008.
There is no such thing as unlimited freedom and the media should not be abashed of “voluntary self-censorship” to respect cultural norms
In a globalized world where news travels in the blink of an idea and is accessible to all, cultural in-sensitivities and arrogance can lead cultures to clash and nations to collide
One example of such in-sensitivities and arrogance in a media publication which leads to a culture clash in the past would be the publications of a series of caricature depicting of Prophet Muhammad that leads to a global issue.

If you love your money. You are saving for something important maybe. Then may I advice you to not watch The Totally Rad Show of the Revision3 network. Repeat that, do not ever watch The Totally Rad Show.
To do not click on the hyper-link on this post in which will take you to Revision3′s Totally Rad Show page. Don’t think it’s just a harmless page with embedded videos. You might accidentally clicked on the play button. Once you see an episode of the Totally Rad Show, there is no turning back. I can’t help you anymore, nobody can.

‘Oh Chentaku‘ roughly translate to “Oh My Love” in english with the word ‘cinta‘ spelled the old way. First glance at the band’s name you would have thought that this is some old school, mushy, sentimental, hopeless romantic band. They however, are far form being mushy, they classified their music type as more towards 90s post-hardcore / emo rock.
The band had already played in a number of shows in Malaysian and all around South East Asia, with an Indonesia tour on their schedule. Considering that and the fact that it’s been barely a year since the band was first formed, they looked pretty impressive.

Remember Writely? The little online web based word processor, one of Web2.0 darlings. Google had acquired Writely, incorporating it into their line of web based office suite, Google Docs.
Web based apps are the future. Few software based companies had notice this trend and are experimenting with web technologies and the possibilities. Adobe is one of such companies.
Adobe have been experimenting with the web space for sometime. They first had released Kuler, a web based application for generating color themes. Then they come out with a web based application, Photoshop Express that was hyped as the ‘web based Photoshop’. It’s not much of a Photoshop replacement just a basic image editing application. Nevertheless, it’s pretty impressive the fact that it’s web based.
Adobe’s new web app Buzzword is pretty impressive too.

No doubt that Hujan is currently the ‘it’ band at the moment. Creating stirs in the underground music scene and at the same time taking the mainstream by storm.
You’ve heard their songs played on the airwave. You’ve seen them sell out gigs. Though Hujan was only formed about two years ago, their rise to fame has been unprecedented. In fact, they are the most talked-about act to emerge in recent memory, an indie band too big for the mainstream to ignore.

I am not a big fan of politics. I don’t pay much attention to the politic-o-sphere but I do try to keep a keen eye on the blog-o-sphere. See how I’m creating words as I go along, I’m cool in that way.
I don’t read political based blogs. I try to avoid them like cats avoid water. However, when Tun Dr. Mahathir starts to blog (www.chedet.com), it’s difficult to ignore.

Nine Inch Nails know how to work the web and they know their fans well. Trent Reznor, with his band had released their latest album, The Slip, officially available online to be downloaded at nin.com.
The band Nine Inch Nails is known for their shenanigans on the web as they promote and distribute their music. Although Radiohead might not wish to repeat their give away stunt, but Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails look like they are embracing this new style of distribution.
