These are three movies I am looking forward to catch on the big screen. A long awaited sequel to a great adventure saga. A new sequel to the story of a legendary superhero, updated. A robot love story.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Steven Spielberg and Gorge Lucas, their movies are forever embedded in my childhood memories. Brings me countless joys when I were young. Back then it’s either Star Wars or Indiana Jones.
I’ve watched the trilogy several times in the past. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade. Watching them again still put a smile on my face. Indiana Jones are always about adventure in a grand scale just pure fun.

I hope the new installment would still stick with the same formula and the tradition of Indiana Jones, but maybe in a much larger scale. With the advancement of cinema and movie making technology today as compared to the time when they make the first three installment of Indiana Jones, just imagine. There is so much more they could do today as to what they are capable at that time.
I’m very much looking forward to seeing Indiana Jones in action on the big screen. Check out the trailers.
The Dark Knight

Batman is my favorite superhero of all time. While other superhero has their superpowers, Superman with his super strength, flying all over the place and laser eyeing the baddies, Spiderman with his spider sense and web throwing tricks, other superhero with superpowers, but Batman on the other hand has non whatsoever.

He has his wits and his gadgets. He is has no superpowers, just like me. Maybe not quite like myself, I’m lacking on the wealth, wits, martial-arts skill and the coolness factor. Still work in progress.
When the first Batman movie got out, I was trilled. It feels a little bit unrealistic, but its ok, it’s a superhero genre after all. The new Batman movie on the other hand, skew towards a more realistic look and feel. I have to say, I like this Batman more.

Dark Knight is the follow up of ‘Batman Begins‘. Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, the man behind the mask. This time Batman will face his most personal and vicious enemy yet, the devious Joker. From the trailers it looked pretty awesome. The Joker, played by Heath Ledger, looked like someone you wouldn’t want to mess with.
I can’t wait to see Batman face of with the Joker. Check out the trailers.
WALL•E

You just can’t go wrong with Pixar. They are the pioneers of big screen 3D animation. Sure there are other studios making 3D animations before Pixar did their Toy Story, but non of them ever done anything for the big screen, it’s either on animated series or games cut scenes.
They always try to do something new in 3D animation tech with all their flicks. Water effects, Fur effects and such.
It is not just the tech that make Pixar, as what they are now, Pixar. It is also because they are great story tellers. They know how to tell stories. Most of their flicks are made for all ages family fun. Something both kids and adults could enjoy at the same time.
The movie WALL•E takes place in the distance future. Earth is left covered with trash, we all know who’s fault is it. Blame consumerism, rampart uncheck consumerism.
Everyone had to leave earth and they left behind little robots like WALL•E to clean it up. WALL•E is an acronym for Waste Allocation Load Lifter – Earth-Class. The clean up program failed with the exception of one little robot, left alone, doing what he is programmed to do.
However, WALL•E’s is a love story. WALL-E is the only one still truly living on earth, and what is the ultimate purpose of living if it is not to love? The little robot falls madly in love with another robot, EVE, that was send to check on earth. EVE however has no feeling whatsoever. EVE is just a robot. EVE is not as evolved as WALL•E.
Can’t wait to check out Pixar’s latest flick WALL•E. I have a soft spot for cute robots that shows emotions. Check out WALL•E trailers.
