The M is for ‘Millions‘. That is the number of visitors chedet.com is pulling. Blogging under his long time pseudo name ‘Che Det’, Malaysia’s retired fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir’s blog, is puling a substantial amount of traffic for a blog that was debuted about only a month ago.

I am trilled to see someone like him embraces blogging, but am disappointed that it is when he is not in office only then realizes this. Maybe it is when one has no control of the mass media that one looks for other alternative to reach the masses.

I’ve yet again compare the site’s traffic ranking to other politician blogger. While alexa might not be the best tool for this, it is the only tool that I know of. You can see the chedet.com sky rocketed then it drops but is still above the rest.

I have not seen him linking to any other blog post or site on any of his blog entry. I wonder, if he were to link to a website, will that site get a similar effect like slashdotted, the slashdot effect or digg effect? What do we call it then? ‘Chedetted’?

Since he is embracing the blogging culture, then will he participated with all the stupid useless blog memes? Will we see a reference to LOLcats somewhere? Will he answer if he has been tagged with other bloggers?
