Awhile back I got myself an entry level DSLR, it is a Canon EOS 400D. I love it. After playing around with it, reading the manual a couple of time and reading photography tips on the Internet, I can say that I am very much comfortable in handling a DSLR camera now.

I think it is the time for me to go to the next level. I think I am ready. What better then to go for the Canon EOS 50D.

Sure it is still nothing more then a rumor, but according to this Japan’s Canon website, it looks like an announcement of the Canon 50D.

50d

I am dehydrated due to drooling too much. Supposedly the actual spec were leaked out on the Internet from China’s Canon site. The above picture probably just a mockup.

Interesting facts about the spec, the Canon 50D will be packing a 15.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4, ISO range of 100 – 12800. The 9 point af is kind of a disappointment at the moment.

Photography Bay got all the scoop for more information on the specs.

Another Canon rumor site said that it will hit the market on 5th April 2009. Well guess I’ve to start saving.
