No matter what the outcome of the by-election polling result at Permatang Pauh, Barisan Nasional will lose.
If PKR, Anwar’s party get the majority vote, then Anwar is one step closer to achieving his goal of finally becoming the next Malaysian Prime Minister.
On the other hand, if BN gets the majority vote, then Anwar and the rest of his gang will accuse BN of cheating and rigging the voting system. That has always been the response from the opposition party whenever they loses. Everybody knows that Barisan National can never win in a fair election, so they say.
Civil unrest occurs. ‘Pilihan raya‘ becomes ‘pilihan jalanraya‘. Whatever the result is B.N. loses.
Local media will cover this and the Anwar’s sex scandal case. The rest of Malaysia will be glued to this for a couple of weeks, or at least until Akademi Fantasia or other reality type TV shows steals the people’s attention.
Just my two cents.

i tend to agree with you. It was the hottest headline before when people been saying that BN are cheating, there’s phantom voters and all when they won, (even for a small margin) in the last election. But when the opposition wins, with a bigger margin, why that matter suddenly not an issue? I usually ignore bloggers who extremely blog about politics, but sometimes its sick when they stood for one thing, and just be blind.
for example, the oil-price reduced, lee chong wei in permatang pauh, PM rides the KTM, they all say that this events happen just because of the by-election. Come on. If its true, i rest my case. But if let say, one day the PM or BN done something, sincerely, solely for the people. How? still for the party’s benefits? till when? then, forever the gov actions will be question. honestly, i dont know where my country are heading. Penat dah.
