Written by J Shamsul, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 | 1

15Malaysia had released its first short film, Potong Saga. Even though it is only around 6 minutes long, it’s 6 minutes well spend.

Potong Saga is a hilarious film about a misguided Chinese boy played by Namewee, in his attempts at opening an Islamic bank account. He thought that in order to open an account in an Islamic bank, he need to be circumcised first. The word ‘Potong’ literally translate to ‘Cut’ in english.

The film is directed by the talented Ho Yuhang. You might remembered him as the funny Chinese guy is some TV advertisement, or you might be familiar with other film he had directed, Min and Rain Dogs.

Watch the embedded video as he hilariously when through the process and finally apply for an Islamic Bank account.

Also check out these trailer to two other 15Malaysia films which features known political figures in Malaysia.

Meter directed by Lim Benji featured Khairy Jamaluddin as a taxi driver.

The Tree directed by Amir Muhammad featured Nik Aziz.
