0THIS IS AMAZING!!!. Yes that all caps sentence is purposely done that way, there is nothing wrong with my Caps Lock key. I’m referring to the latest teaser trailer of upcoming 2009 fantasy film Where the Wild Things Are directed by Spike Jonze.
Where the Wild Things Are is an adaptation of the Maurice Sendak’s 1963 children’s book with the same name. It’s a story of a boy who embarks on an amazing imaginary adventures in a land inhabited by seven imaginary monsters called the Wild Things, who crown him as their king.
I like Tim Burton, but I’m glad he didn’t do this movie. I don’t think he is suitable for this. Tim Burton movies seems to be a little bit dark at times. Spike Jonze’s take in this movie on the other hand is amazing. The look is so surreal, it’s the result of combining live action, animatronics, people in costume suits together computer generated (CG). I’m glad that they didn’t go all CG all the way on this.
