Don’t have anything planed for this weekend? Why not head over to One Utama for Indie Youth Festival 2009. This is the second year around. Although the festival had started yesterday, on Wednesday 14th October, I’m pretty sure the even climax is in the weekends.
Indie Youth Festival celebrates digital lifestyle and do-it-yourself culture among youth. They aim to be a platform for youth to just be themselves. Expect to see all kind of events, including a gaming arena.
On Saturday, there will be live performance by local indie acts, An Honest Mistake, Superbar, Tilu, Moms On Strike, Definitely Maybe, Wani Ardy, Dichi Michi, and finally, Bittersweet to close the show. Check out the official schedule and website for more information.
If rocking chicks is more of your thing, you might want to head over to Paul’s place this Sunday 18th October for Female Rocks gig. All girl bands (or bands with a female lead) will be performing. Check out Bottlecapt, Polaris, Nemo, Tasya, Senoritas, Paid in Fiction, Wawa, Liberated Generation, Vermillion and a special appearance by Candy.
So where will you be this weekend?
