It’s that time of the year. It’s the Oscars awards, 7th March. Nominees list are on the website and this time it seems that 9 movies nominated for Best picture.

Avatar seems to be the crowd favorite, almost everybody I know is saying that it’s the best movie they had ever seen. Myself however found nothing that extraordinarily special, except for the looks maybe. Then again I still can’t stand watching Titanic from start to finish in one sitting. Sorry James Cameron.

There are some serious contender to Avatar on the list, among them are – Inglorious Basterds, Precious, Up in the Air and Pixar’s Up. Personally I would really really really want Pixar’s Up to win best picture. I think it’s the best movie from Pixar, and the best that I’ve seen last year. The animation and story line so good that you’ll fall in love with every characters in it, even the talking dog.
