Brought to you by AirAsiaRedTix.com and MTV Asia, redAMP is a band competition the covers the ASEAN region looking for the best that ASEAN have to offer. The winning act will be empowered with financial assistance, professional training, promotional advice and band development fun of RM50,000 to kick-start their music career.
The competition is open to all unsigned band from the southeast asia region – Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
If you and your band ever wanted to try the mainstream route, you might want to give this a shot. Who knows this could kickstart your music career.
Registration opens until 13th June, register and upload your band profile, photos, and links to your music videos or sample recordings.
However there are rules on what type of video are allowed to be submitted, no nudity, no smoking, no graphical profanity, no sexual connotations, no violence, no product branding/endorsement and no verbal profanity. There goes half of the bands on my list.
