The first thing that one notices when they first meet me is my name. If I were to get a cent for each time someone asked me what’s the J stands for, I’ll be rich with multiple bank account in Cayman island.

I never did excel in school. Never was a top of the class student at my university. Never had I ever see myself as an ‘entrepreneur‘. I don’t win awards, and rarely had I ever wish I was inspirational.

However, when it comes to web technologies, web development and web design, I do know my stuff. I speak PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS fluently. When not at my day job, I like to work on developing and designing user-oriented websites focusing on aesthetics, user experience, usability and accessibility.

I like to take pictures, I have an unhealthy obsession with Apple products, and I think that one day robots will rule the world and enslave all humans.

My Screen Name

If you see me on the Net you’ll notice that I sometimes go by the screen name, “Jibone.” It’s a nick name that sticked to me since high school, and I thought why not make the best of it.

I started using this a my screen name in forums and IRC chat rooms back when IRC is considered cool. I wanted a name which would always be available and would be easily associated with me.

This is obviously my blog. It is a mix of art, tech, music, web and culture presented in a globally-minded geek perspective with occasional rambling of my personal opinion.

Jiboneus.com discusses a wide range of topics that makes us geek out, form the coolest art, tech and music of both the online and offline world. From geek culture, web culture to popular culture. From mainstream to underground. A mix of computer wizardry, esoteric spirituality, and other mind-altering substances.
