Dik Cerdas is the translated name for Crayon Shin Chan manga series here in Malaysia. This comic tells the story of a Japanese kid name Shinnosuke Nohara who lives in Kasukabe town, Gunma Prefecture Japan. Stories mainly revolves around his family, his friends, his kindergarten and occasionally the Kasukabe Town itself. Immensely popular world wide it remains to be the last comic book that I personally collect. From Dragonball to the repetitive murders of Detective Conan (yes everywhere he goes people literally dies) Dik Cerdas remains the last bastion of comic that I collect and after buying the 50th volume of that book, something finally hit me. Isaac Entry’s Entrance
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Friday, August 6, 2010
August 3rd was a big day for the folks at No Black Tie for it was the launching and showcase of No Black Tie records first CD release. Of course, the location for this event is none other than No Black Tie itself that inconspicuous lovely pub located along Jalan Mesui. Perhaps after hosting throngs of new and upcoming talent vying for a stage to showcase their work, NBT decided that it’s time for them to evolve to more than just a lovely place to drink and to listen music to. What better way to start off the whole campaign by featuring one of their most brightest home-grown (literally, since he plays at NBT) talent the wandering musician Isaac Entry. Read more...

J Shamsul wrote what a disappointing urbanscapes it was for him, from the lack of information to the performances and arts. Well your’s truly decided to skip the whole artsy, artist and organizing thing and focus more on what’s important in Urbanscapes which is YOU! The revelers, crowd or the visitors. I decided that it’s about time focus is given to the art that the visitors bring in, in other words, THE FASHION!! Read more...
Lagu Buat Isteri Tercinta
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Friday, July 9, 2010
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Tuesday, June 22, 2010
When pigs fly, truly a miracle it is.
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Recently Tommy one of our writers wrote an article in which he listed 5 of his favourite Hayao Miyazaki’s movie. Although I think that Spirited Away should be in it instead of Laputa I guess that’s just personal preference. However there is that one movie that was listed in it in which I placed it very closely to my heart, a movie in which I would like to talk about more in detail, a movie called Porco Rosso. It’s about a pig, planes, comrades, competitors, love and life. Read more...
Bottlecapt Babes

The traffic heading into Ampang is evil, passing the Korean Town opposite of Ampang Point the road gets narrower and cars start to congregate. It’s like going to the post office with only 2 out of 14 counters open. At first you feel absolutely annoyed, start to blame society and finally gave into the situation and blame it on fate. When I say Ampang I don’t really mean the glitzy Jalan Ampang where KLCC and Quatro is located, no we’re not that big yet to go and review famous popular bands, not yet at least, this is the side of Ampang where you have a row of restaurants facing a big ‘longkang’ in which they call it the Ampang Waterfront. My god, if they were facing a ‘loji kumbahan najis’ it would probably be called The Ampang Lakeside. Malaysia never ceases to amaze me. Read more...

Sinatra_Z – Song for a quiet tropical night (French)
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Thursday, April 22, 2010
Ahh French, they smoke bitter cigarettes drink wine and concluded that life is miserable. The language which sounds as if you are flirting all the time can be absolutely seductive for non speakers. Chances are Miss Poulain is merely explaining directions to the nearest library but still I find that she sounds absolutely divine and imagining on making babies with her. Based on this timid, stereotypical and general assumption of mine we shall conclude that for this sole reason French music is an excellent taste for quiet tropical nights. Read more...
Songs for a quiet tropical night (Chinese)
Written by Tan Sri Frank Sinatra, Thursday, April 15, 2010
Sadly, unlike the previous article in this series this one is not written in Mandarin so no need to search of google translation. This time around I would like to introduce to you some of the beautiful Chinese golden songs. Truth be told, since I don’t know how to speak Mandarin and my Cantonese fluency mostly focus on pick up lines and profanities hence I don’t know much about Chinese songs. Occasionally though I would stumble upon some beautiful chinese song, be it would be from a movie, while walking by that CD shop at Wangsa Walk Mall or playing on the old school Jalan Pasar electronics component store.
