What really caught my attention when watching the teaser for the upcoming movie about Facebook, The Social Network was the music played on the first part of the teaser. It was the a version of Radiohead’s Creep performed by an all girl choir. August 3rd was a big day for the folks at No Black Tie for it was the launching and showcase of No Black Tie records first CD release. Of course, the location for this event is none other than No Black Tie itself that inconspicuous lovely pub located along Jalan Mesui. Perhaps after hosting throngs of new and upcoming talent vying for a stage to showcase their work, NBT decided that it’s time for them to evolve to more than just a lovely place to drink and to listen music to. Still pissed after all these years, Malaysia’s punk rock legend, Carburetor Dung will be touring the Philippines this weekend. In conjunction with that, they are releasing a CD-R album with tracks recorded from 1993 to 2007 and also several songs from the yet to be release album, Inginku Rejam Raksasa Kejam to share with friends.
