Yet another Apple special event day went down lastweek. The supreme overlord, our beloved cult leader, Steve Jobs comes down from the mystical mountain of supreme divine innovation and gives us mortals his legendary keynote speech.
As usual I was not invited. However that doesn’t stop me from following the event live. Tracking tweets from Twitter, lurking in IRC back channels and refreshing Engadget as fast as I could click the refresh button.
Right after the event is over, I wrote a short report of what when down on MyMacBUZZ, the Malaysia based Apple blog I co-blog once in a while.

Last weekend was an iPhone and iPod Touch weekend. People all around the world lined up to buy their new iPhone 3G. By ‘all around the world’ I meant, ‘the countries that Apple is selling its iPhone 3G’. Malaysia not included. Read more...

Early 2006, Apple had announced a couple of iPod accessories products. One of it is the infamous iPod Hi-Fi. It is a speaker system developed, manufactured and sold by Apple Inc. It acts as a Hi-Fi quality sounding speaker for your iPod, and it did just that.
The product didn’t gain any traction, and was discontinued by the end of 2007. I would actually love to see a revamp version of iPod Hi-Fi. The new iPod Hi-Fi 2.0 would have some new features. Not talking about build-in FM tuner, alarm clock or anything mediocre like that. Here are two of my suggestions to the Apple engineering team for the next version of iPod Hi-Fi.

I’ve been touched. I got myself an iPod Touch while I was at Singapore recently. There should be a t-shirt with the phrase “I went to Singapore and all I got was an iPod Touch” on it. Apple’s iPod’s are a little bit cheaper in Singapore then it is in Malaysia. Read more...
