Date Night Lemon Pappardelle with Shrimp

Lemon Pappardelle with Shrimp! Velvety, lemony, smooth pasta stacked high in a bowl with buttery shrimp and newly split black pepper.

this dish

Date night pastas are my preferred.

Specifically those that include silky-smooth, velvety, lemon pappardelle ribbons topped with newly ground black pepper and a stack of impossibly juicy, buttery, tender jumbo shrimp. Exists anything more romantic than a fork-twirl of velvety noodles with some prepared shrimp to simple and easy excellence in ONLY BUTTER? I can not even reveal my love effectively. The simpleness, the pureness of textures and tastes, the mix of whatever on the plate … farewell.

Factors date night pastas are perfect:

Lemony, velvety, smooth, abundant, fragile, easy and stylish all in one. It is the food symptom of the heart-eye emoji. Go now. ♡

Active Ingredients

  1. Pasta: Prepare according to package instructions (include a huge pinch of salt to your water for better-tasting pasta). Drain pipes and schedule some water. Toss pasta with olive oil to avoid sticking.
  2. Sauce: Melt 2-3 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Include the garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes (do not brown the garlic). Include the red wine; let it sizzle out for a couple of minutes. Include the cream; give a simmer. Include the lemon juice, salt, and optional Parmesan; lower to low heat.
  3. Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Heat one tablespoon of the butter in a big frying pan over medium heat. Include the shrimp, season with salt, and turn when pink (1-2 minutes per side). Cover with foil and reserved.
  4. Put Together: Toss your pasta with the warm sauce. Serve along with a stack of fresh, juicy, hot, buttery shrimp. Serve with newly split black pepper and little wedges of lemon. Ooooh infant.

Shrimp: Tail off, tail on either works. I normally search for the bigger size (16-20 per pound).
